Pasco Veterinary Medical Center with Dr. Marlene Siegel
For this week’s episode of It’s A Dog’s Life, we’re joined by holistic pet health expert and author Dr. Marlene Siegel, of Pasco Veterinary Medical Center. She is best known for integrating holistic treatment options with traditional veterinary medicine.
When you take your pet to a conventional Veterinary practice, you will most likely come away with a prescription medication for your pet. Dr. Siegel refers to this as “A pill for an ill” medical practice. These pills often seem to work well for our pets, so what is the concern? The concern is that these pills often address the symptoms, but rarely do they address the cause of the ailment. Additionally, this leads to more and more problems for your pet. In healing pets holistically, we seek to address the root cause of the disease or ailment, and return the body to balance.
Dr. Marlene Siegel has used her experience in her integrated holistic pet healing veterinary practice to create a free Ebook for pet parents, “5 Steps to Healing Pets Holistically”. She’s on the show to discuss her 5 steps and share them with us.
