Happy Owner Happy Dog with Heather Szasz
Recently I did a podcast with Heather Szasz, professional dog trainer and founder of Happy Owner/Happy Dog. Having extensive experience in both dog training and life coaching has given Heather a unique outlook when working with dogs and their owners. Heather has dedicated herself to coaching owners on how to influence their dog in a positive way, by transforming their own anxiety and negativity, which our dogs are living with, and mirroring, every day. She joined us to discuss common dog behavior problems, how dogs are affected by our energy and habits, and some tips on how you can improve the relationship you have with your dog. Visit her website for more resources, tips or training services from Heather Szasz.
“It is our fears, anxiety, and emotions that impact our dogs everyday. It is far more important for us to be well balanced and calm, than teach obedience skills to our dogs. If they are our mirror, then we owe it to them to be the way we would like them to behave.” – Heather Szasz
