About Dr. James St. Clair
Dr. James St.Clair has been an outspoken voice for dog health with a core focus on pet owner education since 2004. Dr. James St.Clair, warmly referred to as Dr. J, owns and operates a four-doctor, full-service small animal practice in central Connecticut. In the fall of 2004, Dr. J founded TopDog Health & Rehabilitation, a progressive canine physical rehabilitation facility focused primarily on post-orthopedic surgery patients and older arthritic dogs. Within six months of opening TopDog, he created the first version of the TopDog Home Rehab Guide after recognizing a significant lack of information and inconsistency in the information provided to pet owners from their veterinarians, general practitioners, and the boarded surgeons. Over the years, TopDog’s focus shifted to researching and developing innovative joint health and therapy support products. In January 2010, Dr. J purchased the manufacturing company of his joint health products.
Dr. J plans to focus his energy and passion on developing exceptional quality nutritional supplements for dogs for years to come. He shares his life with his amazing wife Jenine, their four children, Emma, Andrew, Sydney, and Max, and their dog Ditch.
