Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs with Janine Ling on Your Natural Dog Podcast

Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs with Janine Ling of Project Sudz on Your Natural Dog Podcast

When Janine Ling was trying to find products that would help her pitbull’s allergies and skin irritation, she was disappointed by the lack of natural products available. To help fill this gap, Janine created Project Sudz, an all-natural, plastic-free pet care brand. In this episode, Janine explains why apple cider vinegar for dogs is the ideal ingredient for helping with everything from skin conditions, to fleas and ticks, to yeast overgrowth. She also shares a behind the scenes look at launching a natural pet business, including her efforts to make Project Sudz more sustainable.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs & Pets

There are numerous benefits to using apple cider vinegar for dogs and pets, which is why Janine Ling and her team at Project Sudz proudly use it in all of their pet products! Project Sudz’ natural dog shampoos, natural pet ear cleaner, and natural flea and tick spray are all formulated with apple cider vinegar, to naturally support your pet’s skin and overall health.

One of the benefits of apple cider vinegar for dogs and pets is its natural antifungal and anti-microbial properties. This makes ACV a great choice for relieving your pet’s hot spots, fungal infections, as well as naturally alleviating itching. That’s why one of the most common uses of apple cider vinegar for dogs is natural ear care, especially helping to treat ear infections.

Project Sudz uses organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar, combined with a vinegar “mother,” a substance which helps harness the beneficial and healthy bacteria. Apple cider vinegar for dogs also helps combat bad bacteria, while keeping your pet’s good bacteria, which conventional pet shampoos can disrupt.

ACV is also beneficial for our stinky pets, as it naturally eliminates odors without using chemicals. Apple cider vinegar also softens hard water, which can leave your pet’s hair brittle and dry.

Project Sudz’ Organic Shampoo Bars are all formulated with apple cider vinegar for dogs with itchy skin, cats with itchy skin, and even hypoallergenic shampoo bars and flea and tick relief bars.

    Janine Ling

Janine dove head-first into pet care when she co-founded her first pet line with the main goal of helping her own itchy pitbull.  She did this by creating helpful products which did not contain the chemicals and detergents found in other commercial pet products.  She has since evolved her love of animals to incorporate care for the environment with a plastic-free, eco-friendly line.  The Project Sudz catalog includes products which are both ingredient focused and environmentally friendly to solve common pet problems like itchy dogs, fleas & ticks, skin issues, stomach issues and odor reduction.

Project Sudz products are tested exclusively on humans- the pet shampoo bar is the only product Janine will use to wash her hair.  Janine extends her care for furry friends to care for those around her.  Project Sudz donates their soaps to local food pantries and organizations which provides essential products to those in need.
